Senior Account Executive (IC, hunter profile)

We are looking for a Senior Account Executive (IC) to drive our expansion into international markets. This is a true hunter role focused on net new business: identifying new opportunities, engaging prospective clients, building a pipeline from scratch, and leading complex sales cycles through to close. We are looking for someone who knows how to create and convert revenue opportunities, not simply manage existing accounts

Responsibilities:

New Business Development

  • Identify and acquire new clients across Europe

  • Independently build pipeline (primarily through own network, outbound, events)

  • Engage with C-level stakeholders (CIO, CTO, Head of IT / Security)

End-to-End deal ownership

  • Own the full sales cycle: from first contact to deal closure (including successful contract execution)

  • Conduct discovery and qualification

  • Collaborate with presales and technical teams

  • Manage complex multi-stakeholder processes

Solution Selling

  • Sell multi-cloud and security solutions through business value

  • Develop customized proposals based on client needs

  • Lead negotiations and close deals

Pipeline & revenue management

  • Maintain pipeline with 3–5x coverage of target. Forecast sales

  • Control deal progression and achieve targets

  • Maintain a high standard of CRM & forecast accuracy and ensure every commercial proposal and deal naturally reflects our level of professional execution


Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of B2B sales experience (IT / cloud / cybersecurity / infrastructure)

  • Experience selling complex solutions (solution sales, not product “boxes”)

  • Proven track record of closing deals with $300k+ gross profit

  • Experience working with long sales cycles (6–10 months)

  • Experience engaging with enterprise clients and C-level

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and other European languages

Core competencies

  • Strong hunter profile (ability to generate pipeline independently)

  • Ability to sell through value, not price

  • Ability to manage complex deals with multiple stakeholders

  • Independence and results orientation

  • Experience with cloud platforms (GCP / AWS / Azure)

  • Understanding of cloud economics and FinOps

  • Experience selling in system integrators or cloud/security companies

We are not a fit if

  • Your experience is primarily account management (key account, not new business)

  • You worked with short sales cycles and mostly transactional, not solution-oriented

  • Your pipeline was mainly generated from inbound leads

  • You do not have experience in independently closing complex deals
